Victim Abuse & Injustices
E-mail: mbard@skipjack.bluecrab.org

I am the director of a 501(c)3 nonprofit which assists battered women, Vietnam vets in trouble (and that includes prison), victims of our criminal and civil [in]justice systems, and the pre- and presently-homeless, among other problems. (It is assumed that one is not homeless if one is doubled-up, unwanted, with relatives and friends. There are many thousands of seniors who are forced to inflict themselves on those who really do not or cannot take care of them for the rest of their lives.) I make national contacts to try to alleviate situations by shared housing, etc.

I am a Ph.D. (UCLA) with a doctoral dissertation on, among other topics, victimology. While I do not practice law, I also attended law school--entering the day after I turned in my doctoral dissertation at UCLA. And I was over 40 then. I am a published author on the root causes of and solutions to societal problems such as "forced" unemployment (the Golden Handshake), hidden homelessness, abuse of elders by those known and unknown, and untenable organizational strategy which affects seniors and the disabled (but not exclusively).

My background has already been published in international and national publications, and not that I'm proud of it, but I've also been on "60 Minutes." (I learned that they aren't so honest. They voiced-over words not said by the people interviewed, and they broke our contract by not even mentioning our nonprofit--which was the ONLY reason we agreed to be on the show. Four hidden homeless women's lives were ruined by the producers' dishonesty. . ..)

I have an international reputation for assisting victims of a variety of injustices, and I offer my services for your needs. You may ask any questions you wish.

Webmaster Note: Dr. Bard also posted information on a scheme by North American Van Lines. She said, "After my own horrible experience, I would like other seniors, especially ladies and the disabled, to be aware of this company's policy to lie in such a manner that it is impossible for the claimant to ever recover any losses."
