I work for the Kansas Department on
Aging as their webmaster, although I haven't really started updating the
site yet. Formerly I was a LTC Ombudsman for the north East corner of
Kansas, 7000 residents in 100+ facilities, and I have worked in the
depts. medicaid division.
If Seniors need information in Kansas they
can email me direct or visit our Kansas for Seniors website (it has all
the Area agencies on Aging, our department, AARP, and the senior
Centers) click on KDOA and then email us, or order our materials.
We have an excellent caregivers guide for Alzheimer's and a terrific
Parkinson's guide for the person who has Parkinson's... send me a note.
Folks can e-mail me and if I can't help, possibly one of our "specialists" can if a problem is horrendous.
