: My gosh! What a relief to come here and find all of you. Who'd have thought this would be such a common problem?
: I'm 38 and my lump started two years ago. The feeling comes and goes. It's enough to just about drive me nuts some days. I've also started having a ringing and/or plugged feeling in my ears - mostly the right one. While it's irritating and extremely frustrating, at least I know I'm probably not dying. Now to figure out how to make it go away...
Hi Wendi,
I have been scaring myself for the past few days thinking I had some extremely serious problem. I am 43, last year I suffered sudden hearing loss in one ear -- no tumor -- Dr attributed it to a virus. Now, one year later, I have a feeling of a lump in my throat just below my "adam's apple". I get very stressed out and it causes me to have bowel problems. I have always been a "worry wart" but this feeling of a lump in my throat is very worrisome to me. Have you been to a doctor to find out if it is indeed only stress or ???
