Hi all,
I have not posted for some time. I got my throat constriction back in January 2002, and still have it.
I have seen those little tens units in the stores, and tried one the other week. These are small units with little pads that you attach to your skin, and then you feel electric stimulation. Some of the units are fancy and you can pick from a variety of types of electric stimulation.
Has anyone bought one of these to try on the tight front neck muscles? I have no one to ask here about whether it would help or not. I emailed the guy who writes about our condition (the doctor at voicedoctor.net) but he didn't write me back. I am still overseas, so it is hard for me to find out any information.
If any of you in the States could ask about this, I would be curious if any doctors who are seeing any of you think a tens unit might help. I could buy one, but have no idea if it would be a good thing; no idea of how long or often to use it; etc. Please post any ideas here. Thanks.

: I have had a lump in the lower back of my throat for 2 months now. I went to the doctor and he gave my antibiotics that didn't do anything. It hurts on the outside of my neck just a little. But the main problem is that I can feel it and I know that it's there so I'm constantly looking at the back of my throat! Has anyone ever had this sort of problem? Please tell me about it! :)
