I had a lump in my throat for 2 years, thought it was because of smoking and drinking heavily, but then i fell pregnant and gave both up for a year, in that time the lump went away. After i had my baby i foolishly took smoking up again and the lump was back straight away except this time it brought anxiety with it (feeling faint,hot,cant sit still, feel like ur going to die ect)I went to the dr's and they found no lump whatsoever, but prescribed me with anxiety tablets which i didn't take because i thought it might give me another panic attack. When i can control the anxiety, the lump goes away, but if i get a feeling of panic it comes back again. I think it is very psycological, so maybe it's the anxiety that needs to be looked at and not the lump?
