Ever since i quit cannabis about six months ago I have had a similar feeling in my throat. Yes, I get occasional relief but I'd say the feeling persists 80% of the time. I've seen my GP and he put it down to anxiety, there's a very technical term for it, which I can't remember. I've also had the burping which very occasionally brings up a bit of liquid. I've smoked pot a few times since I quit (at least I rarely do it now, instead of everyday!) and each time I get the same feeling (worse on an empty stomach). I've heard that cannabis can cause anxiety so this would pretty much prove the GP's claim. I apologise for my grammar :)
