Hi webmaster, I have visited your new alternative medicine bulletins site several
times and find no bulletins. Could I add the first?
My 60th birthday looms just two weeks away and I am appalled at the
number of people of my age who have all sorts of health problems and
illnesses. I am healthy; never see a doctor; haven't seen one in over
three years. It could be that I inherited a strong constitution or it
could be that I use natural methods for PREVENTIVE medicine. I keep
certain herbs on my kitchen counter which I take daily (if I don't
forget) and I recommend the use of herbs for people who or sick or well.
Learn which herb will benefit your condition and then take it
faithfully. I learned about herbs by getting a free catalog from a mail
order herb company and studying it, reading what herbs were available to
treat various symptoms. When our body ages it developes mineral
deficiencies which the herbs can replace in natural form. For example I
had falling hair for years. Being female I am proud of my long hair and
couldn't understand why it had been coming out by the fistfulls for over
a decade. I began taking kelp and within five days my hair stopped
falling out! After two weeks I decreased the amount of kelp from two
capsules three times a day to one capsule two or three times a week as a
maintenance dose.
I no longer need the kelp as I began taking an herbal hormone formula
for women and found that as long as I take this formula, I don't need
the kelp.
Another herb that benefits me on occasion is catnip; it relieves
anxiety and nervousness. It works as a calmative. When my children
come to me feeling anxious or upset about problems in their own lives, I
hand them the catnip.
These are the herbs I rely on. Why pay a doctor for high prescriptions
for falling hair, or tranquilizers, or hormone therapy when the solution
is as near as the local health food store. Darlene

I have Rheumitoid Arthritis. Ask your Dr. about the Antibiotic Therapy. I
have been on this almost a year.I can see major changes. I was bad enough
that I was taking Methotrexate. I now take a simple anti-inflammatory.I'm
in a group of 5 people. Most of us have benefitted greatly!! You can find
it on the net---------Protocol for Antibiotic therapy for RA by NIH. Not
to many DRs. are prescribing this, but it is a much safer treatment than the
poisons that are normally prescribed. Go for it!!! Myrna Woods mlwoods@netins.net
