Auto, RV & Transportation Bulletins

Here we will post bulletins on auto, RV, and on other transportation information that may be important to senior citizens.

  • Suggestion-need for Seniors to take Mature Driving -- A lot of Seniors feel that they are good drivers since they have driven many years with no accident. However, please consider that a lot of Seniors never have taken any special classroom review of good driving habits since they learn to drive on the farm when they were teen agers. Many organizations give an ALL IN THE CLASSROOM course on defensive driving that allows the senior to receive a discount on their present car insurance. The cost for an AARP class is only $8.00 throughout the United States. Other organizations charge more. The Seniors will have far fewer accidents and traffic citations (10% to 17% fewer) upon completing the 8 hour class. E-mail Oliver Southwick - olly@hotcoco.infi.netfor more information. Olly, Lafayette, California

  • Car/Truck/Rv/Transport. I will drive your car/truck/rv anywhere you wish it to go. I will even do the driving for you while you look around. Pay expense for my trip there and back. E-mail Frank Kelso -- fkelso@iaonline.com
