Sad thing to say but there are seniors who don’t have that family who is willing to take care of them and do something for them especially during the times when they need it. Either they live alone or go to a senior community to be with fellow seniors and be taken care by some medical strangers.
Oraclepoll Research must have noticed such condition, making them conduct a survey regarding this issue. It was commissioned by Friendly to Seniors Sudbury where 252 seniors were asked about their age, gender, marital and financial status, educational background, employment and health.
The results are devastating, as it expresses their needs genuine care.

24% of the respondents no longer have the capacity to do some househols chores like preparing the table, grocery shopping, and cleaning the house properly.

10.8% don’t have any loved ones living in the urban areas.

40% of them complained about the condition of the sidewalks, a major disturbance for seniors who uses scooters and wheelchairs.

78% drive their own vehicle, an unhealthy deed for a senior.
