Sjogren’s Syndrome is an autoimmune disorder wherein the immune cells attack and destroy the glands that produce tears and saliva. It is also known to be associated with rheumatic disorders. It can damage the body with effects that may worsen the performance of organs. Some may undergo just minor ones like dryness of the mouth and eyes while others experience good health but afterwards they will experience serious medical illness. While some people can treat the symptoms easily, some are forced to cope up with the problems like blurry visions and mouth infections.
There are still no treatments for this sickness but the symptoms can be eased. Dryness for example can be eased by moisture therapies.
