Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is the inability to hold urine inside the bladder. Records show that 1 out of 3 elderly Americans suffer from this and usually females are affected. As indicated, approximately 10 million American seniors are having this problem.

Several causes of this include, stress, emotional state, inability to control one’s muscle, injury or any other serious ailment. Usually, when the root cause has already been solved, then there will be no problem with this anymore. But as precaution, physicians may suggest the use of adult diapers and an easy access to restrooms. Also, they may need to change prescription drugs.
