Experts say that seniors must be screened for breast cancer even in their golden years because they may never know if they have one. This will help reduce the deaths caused by the dreaded disease. There are doubts by some seniors that it may be dangerous because of their old age. It has been tested in the study that breast cancer spreads rapidly in the old days maybe because the fighting system or the immune system of the body is not that strong anymore. In most cases, earlier detection makes the job to kill the cancer cells a lot easier.

For seniors, mammography is a test that has to be done. I believe in the study and they have proven the death rate could slow down if it was detected earlier.
