Before taking your medication

medicine.jpgSenior citizens are the ones who take in medicines most of the time. Sadly, there are a lot of drug reactions and interactions between the different medications that they take in. This occurs mostly on medicines that they are about to take for the first time.

Here are some things that you should tell your doctor regarding reactions that are done by medicines.

1. Tell your doctor if you had an allergic reaction to a medication, food or substance. This will help him prescribe the right medicine for you.
2. Tell your doctor if you drink over the counter products.
3. Tell your physician if you are in a particular diet like low-sodium or low-sugar diet.
4. Tell your doctor if you have any medical condition that he might not know about.
