In Japan, a 61 year old woman gave birth to her very own grandchild. Yes that is true. But how did it happen. She is a surrogate mom. She gave birth simply because her daughter could not even have one. Her daughter has no uterus. Although they did not explain why she does not have one. Anyway, her daughter donated her fertile egg to her mom which in turn produced an offspring.

Surrogate birth is not actually illegal but it is banned in the country. The clinic in Japan already allowed 8 surrogate births and this 61 year old mom was the eldest.

This is some nice way to show some parental love.
