What about enacting laws, either Federal or State requiring fairness, not only to seniors (of which I am one) but to everyone. Our divorce laws are archaic out highly prejudicial in favor of women.
"Deadbeat Dads" is a phrase which comes to mind. Coined by the media with, I'm positive, the encouragement of various feminist organizations. When men decline/refuse to pay child support the have various punishments imposed. ie. loss of driver's license, garnished wages, faces portrayed on "wanted posters", etc.,etc. Conversely, what happens to the custodial parent (usually Mom) who refuses or denies the Dad his visitations right's? Loss of driving privileges? garnished wages? Nope, none of the above.
