Reply to: Taking The Fifth by Walter J. Cheney
This is one the worst arguements about the 5th amendment that I have
ever heard. You state that taking the 5th is an admission of guilt.
Did you mean that it is only an admission of guilt when done by police
officers or everyone. Police officers are nothing more than 'common
citizens' wearing a badge. What you are saying is that they don't have
any rights. They are to risk their lives so you can sleep at night, but
they do not enjoy the rights that they protect. What about the
military, they shouldn't have rights either. Well maybe we should just
stop paying them to.
Do you believe that Furhman planted evidence? If so explain where he got the blood for the glove. Nicole's and Ronald's can be explained by Det. Furhman being at the Bundy crime scene, but there were identifiable amounts of O.J.'s blood on the glove. Now with the glove being recovered by the crime scene workers before O.J. even got back into town where did he get the blood?
Second for you to believe that a police department the size of L.A.P.D. to hide a conspiracy the size that such a conspiracy would have to be is crazy. Not one person inside L.A.P.D. has come forward and said anything about a conspiracy. There were civilians as well as sworn officers working on this case. Probably somewhere in the range of 500 people, but no one has come forward? I find this a little strange.
