Under the tightest security, on the outskirts of the University of Mississippi are 7-acres with 12-foot barbed-wire fences, motion detectors, and 3 whitewashed towers manned by armed guards. Within these fences the government employs project administrators, agronomists, tillers, planters, weeders, harvesters, and guards. The federal government is growing -- can you believe marijuana plants - the only legal marijuana plantation in the U.S. Seems like the Vatican running the Mafia -- disturbing. They have been growing weed since 1976 to supply eight (8) people with 300 joints each per month or 3,600 joints per year. Some of these eight have multiple sclerosis, some have glaucoma, some have other, rarer neurological or congenital ailments and smoking marijuana eases or lessens pain or muscular spasms. If we take $250,000.00 times 19 years, it has cost taxpayers $5 million. I would think with all the weed that is confiscated by the government they wouldn't have to raise it on their own farm.
