I have a daughter who is a school teacher and a good one in a neighborhood that is middle class. So many of the kids do not want to be in school that disrupt the class and so it comes down to teacher just being order keepers instead of learning instructors. The ones who want to learn suffer.

We should do as this country used to do and that is set up trade schools for those not interested in learning that is being taught in a regular school. This would not only solve the problem of these kids who are not learning but help those who want to learn.

In European countrys if a child is not college material and there are lots of them then they have to enter a trade school. They do not have the same problems with their children that we do.

When are we going to wake up and teach the basic things in grade school, reading writing and arithmatic and then if they are not going on send them to trade schools so that at least they could work and not go on welfare. Maybe we could get our congressmen interested in this. What do you think?
