Hmmmmmmm, interesting debate everyones seems to be having.
I ran an office in London UK, for about 3 years.
It was an intersting time, personally it wasnt smoething I could see myself doing for the rest of my career.
I have nothing bad to say about the company, as the facts are genuine, you can make money, with hard work etc.
Most people dont want to have to start from the bottom.... thats the problem. If all the quitters etc had the opportunity to start at a management level, I bet not many would bother to complain about morales and honesty then???
Any high income position with any company in the world does involve the need to be ruthless.. I doubt Bill Gates got where he is without upsetting a few people??
Personally I chose to leave the business, because It became too hard, and I began to lose interest...it isnt a busines for anything less than 100percent effort, the British mentality makes it a tough business,.... if I had ran an office in the States, Id probably still be doing it.
Everyone has to remember.....you get the basic details at first... if you write evertything down and look back on it, later in time you would see it is genuine. Because you dont get everything fully explained, people tend to add their own information and conclusions.
You also DO have to start from the bottom, you may make the owner money whilst doing this, but what happens when you work for a boss usually??
Part of my motivation when I first started, was that I wanted to have people like me making me money. If your not willing to work hard and begin at the very bottom, dont do it. BUT it does work, you just have to make it. Good Luck with whatever you end up doing.... take care.
