I know just a little bit about economics, and I realized right off the bat, in the second "interview" that the numbers were not adding up. Real retail businesses only make about 10-15 percent on their goods, and this "company" was promising over 30 percent at this level. I also did not see a solid capital investment on the part of the owner/manager, as the office was scantilly furnished, cheaply decorated, and in a relatively low-rent district.
