Okay...here's how you use this bulletin board:

Don't make a decision based on what you read here. Most of the Scentura-bashing is from a few of the same people. To our credit, however, there are a lot of people that post once and have a story that sounds so much like every other story that it's either one of the few using a fake name, or it's really true.

By the same token, the pro-Scentura posts could also be from the same few people. Or by pro-Scentura people just trying to discredit the bashers and confuse people that are trying to make an informed decision.

Here's what I propose. Read enough of these so that you see the descriptions of a few people's one-week experiences. That way, when you go to an interview or the beginning of training, when the things that you read about start to happen to you in the same order...you'll know who's lying and who's telling the truth. Then you can decide whether it's something that's right for you.

For a really detailed account of four days with Scentura (ok, I'm biased...I wrote it) check out

See, the problem with the Scentura experience is that for most people that get involved, had the known exactly what they were getting into from the beginning, they wouldn't have done it. The problem is that no one will give you honest answers up front...you kind of have to figure it out for yourself. They're trying to come here to try to see a week or two into the future. Arguing semantics and personally insulting each other doesn't help those people make the right decision (which is, of course, run away like the wind). Notice that most of the "noise" is from pro-Scenturas. They're the ones trying to keep anyone from listening to the well-spoken and honest people here. There really are plenty of Scentura-bashers on here that spend their time here trying to help other people to avoid the anguish that we experienced. Helping others...that's something a pro-Scentura won't do. They're only interested in themselves...keep that in mind as you read. And as you listen between the lines when they talk...

Best of luck to you all,
-Michael
