Good Evening Everybody,
Wow! I have visited here many times over the last couple years to see what's going on. Quite the battle we got goin' on in the bottom of the 9th. I'm not sure where to go with this so I'm just going to ramble for awhile and see what happens and where we go.
I have been associated with this company for over 4 years now. I've been up, and I've hit rock bottom. It all goes with the game of being an entrepeneur(sp?). One thing that I would like everyone to note is the Constitutional Right that allows you to degrade, call names, and butcher all the previous topics, also, gives me the right to run a business, attempt to soothe people after they have looked at a site like this, and help people chase the American Dream that many have tried to destroy. This country was built on independent business.... heck, independent government. It's called freedom.
After 9-11, I seized the moment, remained loyal, and stayed focused. All offices that I knew were close to ground zero, I messaged to them that my heart was with them. One manager contacted me on my answering machine at home, which I still have saved to this day, and we had one heckuva a heart to heart. Though many have slammed this manager, I have a grand respect for this person, as a manager and a human being. Then the President of the United States of America said the most important statement. Ad libbing a bit, he said that America needs to go about business as usual! Free Enterprise is my business. I grabbed a few cases of "stank good" and I showed some people how to do this business by learning to stand on a case of product.
I train people to run office locations. Do we sell fragrances. Absolutely! Does Subway sell cold cuts...yes! Does Burger King sell Whoppers...Absolutely! But there is so much more. Is it the school of hard knocks.....Most definately! Is this business meant for everybody....NO!
Look, I answered an ad in the paper just like everybody in here. I had absolutely no people skills. I spent the better part of 30 years with a FTW attitude. I'm definately no pretty boy. Being bigger in size than any 2 of you combined in here, I wasn't going to run from anybody that didn't like my attitude. I read rendition, independent contractor distributor, licenses, taxes, I work for myself, etc. I've walked away from this business for a short time when I thought a better opportunity had come along. I have been on 17 vacations in just over 3 years with this business. This business offered me lobster for the 1st time in my life, limo rides, Miami, California, Las Vegas, a Porsche, several motorcycles, a life for my child and myself that I could never dream. Am I rich...no. Am I going to be.... that depends on me. I represent Destiny. I control my destiny. I am not speaking for anybody but myself. I have never once lied to anybody in this business. I believe what comes around goes around....10 fold. And, I probably couldn't remember what I lied about so I try to keep it simple.
Have there been bad managers/offices?
Sure. Have there been bad savings and loans, stocks, government officials...yes, and every other form of business in this country. Is Scentura a scam? Absolutely not. Any manager that opened his/her office was never charged a penny to open. Was the money to open an office made through bottles...uh...yes. McDonalds was made through cheeseburgers, right? I'm actually proud to have "earned" the office rather than somebody cutting me a check. Kind of like a car somebody gave you... you tear it up. When you bought it though, you take care of it.
I tend to view myself as a realist. I feel that the most unethical occupation is trading time for a few hourly bucks. As you make one hourly wage, the company you work for makes 3 to 4 times that on you. That is a scam to me. Some people need an hourly wage. I respect that. I respect the fact not everybody is willing to go through what I have. I do not think less of anybody that says what they have said on this site. Conventional employment is just not for me.
As far as managers calling people losers or druggies or whatever. I do not agree with this behavior. Let's be real though. Aren't there these people in every business. My opinion to those that are offended, if the shoe fits, wear it. If not, blow it off. It's called freedom. If something was said negatively about you in a business that that you are no longer affiliated.... who cares.
I remember in the beginning thinking rookie thoughts. Scam, religous cult, there is no Larry. Well, I looked Larry in the eyes while in Vegas and told him that he saved my life! All he did was offer me an opportunity. I ran with it. Did I face negativity and loss? Sure. It's part of chasing success. But I gained in so many areas that truly mattered.
Is the product fake or low quality? Come on!.... smell it... you decide. All I know is that I will put my product up against any product on the market and stand by any and all decisions that customers make. I refuse to try to satisfy all people at all times. I enjoy my sanity.
Is it tough in the beginning. Yes! I look at it as if were designed to weed out the weak. Now I am not insulting anybody, I already stated that this is not for everybody.
To those of you that have had bad experiences with what you claim as Scentura, I personally want to apologize. Scentura is not the problem, piss poor management claiming to represent Scentura is to blame. Have I been done wrong by a piss poor manager, yes, so I can sympathize, but, I nor anybody posting here has ever been done wrong by Larry or Scentura. Maybe in another life we will meet up and work together so you can see and feel true representation. I can only thank Larry for the opportunity the he offered me through his vision. I, also, would like everybody to know that I do not work for Scentura, I work for myself, marketing a fantastic product and opportunity that Larry has supplied for me. With my head held high, I proudly represent the Scentura Opportunity to the best of my ability, improving on a daily basis. Do I make mistakes, most definately! I do try to avoid the same mistakes and continually learn to manage at the highest level.
If you are asking, my advice to all would be for you to think for yourself. Set your own goals. Your own dreams. Remember, Bill Gates was laughed at when he said that all homes would have a personal computer(to post comments like these). If you want an opportunity to go into business for yourself with the only fees being have fun, have a great attitude, and be committed to getting the job done, no excuses, then this could be the business for you. If not, then ruining an opportunity for someone else is not really fair. I am walking talking proof that this business works. I said I would make it work, come hell or high water, and it IS!
Hey Guys, I have not slandered or talked bad about anybody, so I would appreciate the same. If you have questions that you would like help with, feel free to post and I will respond.
Have a great day and focus on your goals and dreams in whatever business adventure you seek.
Dan
