Too many people are "sheep". Learn to use your own eyes and own ears. Unless the people that run the office you worked in lied to you, what did they do that was so wrong? Did they ask you to invest money? Did you have to buy something in order to work there? Did you have to sleep with the boss to get a promotion?
Just because someone is asked to learn how to sell a product doesn't mean that a business is a "scam". ALL businesses sell a product or service.
