: Ashley... you are probably a very nice person, but why do you want the office you just started at to be shut down? Your mom said she saw a bunch of negative information about the company. What is your own opinion?

: Too many people are "sheep". Learn to use your own eyes and own ears. Unless the people that run the office you worked in lied to you, what did they do that was so wrong? Did they ask you to invest money? Did you have to buy something in order to work there? Did you have to sleep with the boss to get a promotion?
: Just because someone is asked to learn how to sell a product doesn't mean that a business is a "scam". ALL businesses sell a product or service.
: I can provide the name and adress of my office...
: I am proud of the way I run it, and I teach my people how to make an honest living by selling a high quality product... and passing on an opportunity that I was given myself 7 years ago.

Ben, I'm sure you do your best to run a straightforward business. My question is this, what kind of ads do you place in the paper? Do you let people know before they come in for an "interview" that you are seeking independent contractors who will work for commission only? If you do more power to you and the best of luck. If not, if you, like the rest, wait until the second interview to explain that you are not actually HIRING anyone, and even then saying it in a creative way, then you are not being straightforward with people. Most people would not waste their time to hear about the "Scentura Opportunity" if they knew before they came in that they would be peddling perfume, illegally I might ad, on the streets. Many, as you know, start working at this not realizing there will never be any compensation other than commission from bottles sold.
Do you offer a "contract"? No one in the history of the company has ever had a contract or a guarantee, it's just another way to mislead them to sell a few more bottles before they blow out.
Again, if you recruit people who want to be self-employed and own their own business with all of the liability and responsibility that goes along with that, more power to you. If not you're not being honest with your recruits and yourself.
