That is true of every multi-level marketing pyramid scheme out there. However, when comparing the validity of this scheme to the number of offices currently in the business one should consider how long the majority of those offices have been operating. Probably 15% have been around longer than 18 months. What does that say about a company that is 25+ years old now?
On this site alone there are several former owners looking for redemption, myself being one of them (see the posting below from "former cult leader"). Oh, and trust me, Larry only stops doing business with people who sell less than 125 bottles per week out of their distribution centers, not successful owners. The person you are describing did not get "kicked out" for any of the reasons people have lied about on this site. In your defense, at 22 years old you would have no way of knowing that yet.
Save as much of that money as you can, if you are indeed making it rather than "faking it until you make it". You'll see why soon, as we all did!
