June, I know just how you feel. I too, at 72, have a new book out which is a great gift idea. If you like stories, vignettes, close-ups, and lyric snapshots of the 1940's and 1950's when many of us were in our teens, if you remember the observation deck on the last car of a train (or the steam locomotive pulling it), if you remember the coal you shoveled in the stoker to heat your house as a teen — check out my new book's website. It gives you unsolicited comments (rave notices) which some of the yarns have drawn from editors. It gives you a book review, and five sample pieces (plus four more if you click on "Preview") for a total of nine. It's a nostalgic look back in time you'll enjoy. After reading about college binge drinking I sent my grandson a book called Clear Thinking When Drinking: The Handbook for Responsible Alcohol Consumption, written by Roman T Solohub. It's well written and sets practical guidelines. I found it at: www.thinkingwhendrinking.com
