seniors travel organization Reply to this Comment

hello, sometime back, my wife and i met a couple while on vacation. they told us of an organization they belonged to for seniors where one could join for a nominal fee. you would agree to open your home for overnight guests (of the organization) and you would be able to stay in other members' homes thruout the US and europe. cost per night, i believe was $15 which was to include breakfast. we've lost contact with this couple and would like to learn more about this. i guess you could say we're having a senior moment since we can't remember the name, but thought it was something like evergreen??? is anyone out there aware of this organization? if not, any suggestions as to how we might find it's name? thanx for your time. mike

I am thinking of setting up a company to provide vacation packages for senior citizens. It would have a certified recreation specialist as one of the people hosting the trip. Do you think this would be a good idea? Would people spend a little extra money to have a more senior citizen friendly vacation? Thanks, Ben

There is a small beach located near to the complex but the best beaches can be found a little further West at Coral Bay and beyond. There are plenty of Watersports to do in and around Paphos and Paphos has a waterpark. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the complex with a regular bus service operating 3 routes for a small fee (70 c). It is 5 mins on the bus into Paphos harbour or the old town (market area) and 10 mins in the opposite direction up to Coral Bay. Car Hire is not a necessity however I would advise it for at least a couple of days if you want to get around and explore more of the island.
