I don't even know where to start. This place is a joke. It is understaffed and the staff they have is very unfeeling. They have deprived my grandmother of water to the point she couldn't even speak. She fell 3 times in 1 month and now she is not the same. As a matter of fact she is dying. A nurse by the name of Dana told her off because she called her daughter at 3:00 am to beg her to call the nurse's station for a drink of water. She scared her so bad that she won't ask for water any longer. The new owners Harbor Healthcare has completely changed the menu, they get less food and the quality of the food is horrible. They may get the same thing for a week. For 2 days they got a sandwich and tater tots for supper. They had brownies for dessert for over a week. The food in not fit for a dog and they don't get enough of it to fill anybody up. They leave the food sitting in the hall for up to 45 minutes before serving it. The medication is given whenever they get to it. Blood pressure medicine should be given very early to stop strokes and heart attacks. But it is not and when we complain, their answer is we are understaffed. I blame all of this on the new owners as they are very cheap. The quality fo the nursing staff is horrible, I just wonder where they get them. And the nurse's aides can be found outside smoking or anywhere but on their hall. I could go on for an hour but it makes no difference because nothing is ever done.
