Three Wishes
-- by John T. Baker - Copyright 2000 -- JTB8817@aol.com

Three wishes, Lord, please grant to me:
The first is for senility
To help me now at last forget
The dreadful people I have met.

Then secondly I ask of You
To let me often run into
Those dwindling few who stimulate
And whom I still appreciate.

And finally, dear Lord, I plead
For one last favor that I need -
The reason I most often bitch -
Eyesight to tell just which are which.
