Captain Camouflage
-- by John T. Baker - Copyright 2000 -- JTB8817@aol.com

Three cheers for Captain Camouflage,
Parading with his crew!
Tied up in port, he's such a sport,
Adept at ballyhoo.

In quiet coves and placid ponds
He cruises fearlessly;
When seas are calm, he shows no qualm
In his authority.

He strides the deck in full array,
But when the tempests blow,
He flees the leaks and shrewdly seeks
His cabin down below.
