The Octopus
-- by Don Mulford - Copyright 2000 -- steldon@nbnet.nb.ca

We all malign the Octopus,
Ignoring all her charms.
We cringe in terror when we see
Her eight long, ropy arms;

But think of Octo-kittens
When they come home in disgrace!
They'll squirm into the comfort
Of their Octo-mom's embrace.
