Yesterday's

As one's mind wanders down memory lane.
You often think of the places you have seen.
You think of the friends you have made along the way.
The memories of the good times of yesterday.

You remember the places you have travelled to see.
The beauty that was there for all to see.
Watching your children grow up and leave home.
Soon they have families of their own.

You enjoy your grandchildren when they visit you.
Their views of life are somewhat different from yours.
However, they try hard to do well in these changing times.
Young people give us a great deal of pride.
When you think of the good times you have enjoyed.

The small problems that annoyed us were not really that bad.
When you think of the good times that you had.
Life was a gift we were given to explore.
A person should not expect to have too much more.
