Zee Great Mooze Hunt
-- by Bob Isleifson- Copyright 1999 -- viking@westman.wave.ca

One day last September
As far as I remember
We went huntin for zee great big pappa mooze
I can't recall da reason
We duz dis every season
But it certainly is not because of booze

We don't portage dem rivers
Just to sacrifice our livers
We do it cause we tink it's so much fun
We took steak and eggs and whiskey
But not enough to make us frisky
And one darn fool, he even brought a gun

Well it was late so we did not tarry
We had too much stuff to carry
And it's lucky we forgot to bring the beer
Now dat mooze might tink it's funny
Dat we spend dat kind of money
But I can hardly wait to try again next year.
